Together workshops
Remember them, together
Guided sessions for a grown-up and a child to do side by side: talking, making and remembering. Fifteen to thirty minutes each. Stop whenever you need to.
Our memory jar
Pour your memories of them into a jar, one colour at a time, until it's full.
A sky full of memories
Light a star for each memory of them, and join them into a constellation that's all yours.
Unlock to openGrow a memory garden
Plant a flower for each thing they loved, and watch your garden bloom.
Unlock to openHow well do we know they?
Make a quiz all about them together, then take turns guessing the answers.
Unlock to openOur story in stones
Tell the story of what happened to them, one stone at a time, from before to what comes next.
Unlock to openA bracelet for them
Choose a bead for each memory, give every colour a meaning, and string a bracelet to wear.
Unlock to openOne more minute
If you had one more minute with them, what would you say and do? Your answers become a star.
Unlock to openOur calendar of memories
Mark the days that matter, like their birthday, and choose what you'll do on each one.
Unlock to openBefore you start
- Pick a quiet time when neither of you is rushing, and sit side by side.
- Tell your child what you'll do, and that they can stop any time.
- It's OK for both of you to cry, and OK to laugh. Showing your own feelings helps them show theirs.
- Children grieve in short bursts. If they wander off to play, let them. You can come back to it.
